Congratulations Kelland O’Brien and Nicola McDonald our inaugural Velo Grand PrixTM race winners!

Blackchrome Velo Grand PrixTM is an exciting, elimination style event based on a short, two-lap sprint on a tailor made circuit. Heats of four riders will go head to head, with 2 progressing and 2 eliminated until only four remain to battle for honours in the final.

With over $5,000 in prize money up for grabs and a new, exhilarating racing format, there is something for entrants and spectators alike.

EVENT BEGINS IN

Velo GP 1 – Race Information

Racing from 2:30pm – 4:45pm (2:00pm – 2:25pm warmup)
48 Riders: 32 x men (8 heats), 16 x women (4 heats)*
Each rider will race in a maximum number of 4 heats if they progress through to the final
2 finals (men’s/women’s)
3 minute races
2 minute intervals
Over $5,000 prize money up for grabs
